How do sessions work?
All sessions are held virtually via Zoom. Once you book, you'll receive a calendar invite and a private Zoom link. Sessions are completely private — just the two of us. You can join from anywhere you feel comfortable and safe.
What is a discovery call and is it really free?
Yes, completely free. It's a 10-minute Zoom call where we get to know each other — you can share what you're dealing with, ask any questions you have, and we'll both decide if coaching feels like the right fit. There's no obligation at the end of the call and no hard sell.
How much does coaching cost?
Pricing is discussed personally during your discovery call, because the right investment depends on which package fits your situation. Coaching should be accessible — pricing is set with the real world in mind rather than published as a fixed price list.
Do you offer evening or weekend sessions?
Evening hours are available on Wednesdays, with daytime hours Wednesday through Friday. Monday, Tuesday and weekend sessions can be arranged by request — just mention your preferred time when you get in touch.
Can I extend my coaching package after it ends?
Yes. The 6-Week Deep Dive is designed to be extendable, and any package can be continued if you want to keep going. Many clients start with four weeks and extend once they see momentum building.
How is test anxiety coaching different from exam tutoring?
Tutoring teaches you the material. Test anxiety coaching assumes you already know it, and works on the barrier between knowing something and being able to access it under pressure — breathing techniques, pre-exam routines, and knowledge retrieval strategies.
What kinds of loss does grief support coaching cover?
All of them. The death of a person, the end of a relationship, the loss of an identity or a career, and the loss of a future you had planned for. Every one of those is real grief and deserves the same support.
How do I pay for sessions?
Payments are handled securely through Stripe. After your discovery call, you'll receive a secure payment link — credit and debit cards are both accepted. Card details are never stored or seen by North Star Coaching.
Can I join a group coaching session for test anxiety?
Yes. Test anxiety coaching runs as individual sessions or as a small group of five to six students, which works well for cohorts preparing for the same board exam. Mention group coaching when you get in touch.
Is everything I share in sessions confidential?
Yes. What you share stays between us. Sessions are private one-on-one Zoom calls, they are not recorded, and nothing is shared with anyone else.
